Zoey is in her 24th year of tattooing. She started out in a high volume shop and found her way into her true calling – custom work, after making her way to working with the old school tattooers she idolized in her youth. She is known for her loud color and extreme detail work which has won her many awards over the years including Best Color, Best Booth, Best Black and grey . She has been featured in several Magazines, thunder roads, easy rider magazine and on The Discovery Channel the history of tattooing in more recent years she has shown up in Voyage Dallas Magazine, The Dallas A-list top shops, Google’s top shops, Bob Baxter’s Road Trip coffee table book, TATTOO magazine and several
other publications featuring the Fort Worth Shop and her work specifically. In 2020 Zoey participated with Tattoo for the Children Tattoo a thon at Wild Bill’s Tattoo in Roseville, CA. – this event has helped raise $245,000 for UC Davis Children’s hospital- Please watch for a version of this fundraiser being hosted in Texas in 2021 by Heart n Soul Tattoo.
She opened the original Heart n Soul with everything she had – turned the key with ten bucks and a dream. After conventioning, bike rallies, and guest spots all over the country she has settled into a rhythm of traveling between the two shops. Zoey works by appointment only at both locations. Jake began his piercing career over 20 years ago in Auburn California. We put him through a traditional apprenticeship so he understands this industry – maintains the pride and dedication it takes to truly be a skin artist. After completing his education by way of the Fakir teachings he has gone on to Master Piercer level. Jake runs the Yuba City shop on a daily basis- his commitment to that shop and to his clients means he is there almost every single day. He is known for his knowledge of both piercing and aftercare follow through.
He will walk you through every step of your piercing and continue to help you thru the healing process. The most common feedback we get about Jake is that he makes sure you know you are more important than just the money you spend with him. Jake has been featured on Body Mod Extreme multiple times over the years. The first time he was acknowledged for his piercing work was when he was only 15 years old. His dedication to the daily grind of the Yuba City shop has earned him Best Shop in Yuba City the last 6 years running. Chris has been conquering the tattoo world for 26 years now. He started out running with legends like Tony Olivas and Paul Booth, all these years later he stands with them a legend in his own right. After conventioning, working shops all over the country Chris has found his way home to Northern California- He joined us ten years ago bringing his gift of portraits to our shop. Chris’ realism tattooing is some of the best you will find; his ability to bring the skin to life through his artwork is untouchable.
Chris can be found in many publications including covers and features in International Tattoo, on Conan O’Brian, on The Man Show , TATTOO and Skin and Ink, he has won several awards for his work. You can find him at the California shop Tues- Sat. While you will need consultations and appointments for large custom pieces he does try to make time for walk-ins as well. Chris does travel and work at the Texas location, it is by appointment only and requires a non-refundable deposit due upon making the appointment.

Andrew has he been tattooing for 11 years, in the greater Sacramento area for 9 years. Two years ago he joined us in Yuba City, Andrew brings his love of color to our California location offering bold lines and loud color. As with how our studio basis its ideals on – Andrew too offers custom work with your vision being of utmost importance to him.
He welcomes your ideas to personalize your project working within whatever budget you may have to give you the best possible outcome for your vision. Andrew has spent numerous hours working with charities such as UC Davis children’s hospital resulting in many features in local publications both written and television broadcasts. He has worked top conventions like Easy Rider show and been featured in Thunder Roads Magazine.
Recently he started traveling to Texas, he joined us at Texas Art Expo twice and helped open the Fort Worth TX location. Andrew is now going to be available for work at both the Texas location as well as the California location on a rolling schedule between the two studios.
